In 1999, I released The Atlantic Days – An Instrumental Journey, my first self-produced instrumental project. I created an anthology of original scores to illustrate my passion for scoring music and express myself through instrumental melodies layered with opulent orchestration.
The album features a delicate balance between haunting movements and symphonic themes woven together through elaborate arrangements. “Anastasia’s Song,” the opening track, is a beautiful piece driven by the oboe and violin, which paints a portrait for the listener with bright tones and melodic colors.
The album has many different flavors, combining various styles and sounds to create an exquisite musical mosaic. “Night Parade” uses a strong melodic guitar lead, while “The Mission” is a heavy synth-driven track. I also included pieces such as “Andrea’s Theme,” which was written for the wedding of Peyton and Andrea Jones, “Jessica’s Song,” composed for the wedding of Troy and Jessica Hinrich, and “Brandy’s Song,” written for the wedding of Brain and Brandy Peters.
Each score emphasizes the orchestral choices in instrumentation, while haunting tracks such as “Winter in the Sky” and “In the Morrow” complete the elaborate tone set for the album.
