I Turned To You You Turned Away
I Asked You Why You Wouldn’t Say
I Thought The Love We Had Was Strong
Now I Don’t Know Where I Went Wrong
But Don’t Walk Away
Don’t Leave This Way
Don’t Walk Away
So Much For Promises We Had Made
For Your This Love Has Seemed To Fade
If It’s Over Let Me Know
So That Way I Can Let You Go
But Don’t Walk Away
Don’t Leave This Way
Don’t Walk Away
Solo
Don’t Walk Away

Don’t Walk Away
Don’t Don’t Don’t
Don’t Walk Away

Inside A Crystal Ball
They Say The Future Tells It All
So I Ask You Crystal Ball
Please Tell Me What You See
I’m All Alone Right Now
Crystal Ball Show Me Somehow
Will I Live Through Tomorrow
Must I Face My Life Today
My Heart Is Empty
My Insides Are Growing Cold
Fear Of What The Future Might Bring Me
And The Secret That You Hold
Now It’s Time To Face The Truth
Of What The Future Has To Say
I Must Live Though Tomorrow
So I Will Face My Life Today
Jumping Off The Deep End
I Think I’m Gonna Drown
Cause When This World
Starts Spying Too Fast
You’re Gonna Feel The Pain

Woke Up This Morning
Felt The Sunshine On My Face
How Good It Feels To Be Alive
See The Clouds Smile
In Their Old Failure Place
Today They Didn’t Try To Hide
Watch A Rainbow Touch The Sky
See The Children Start To Play
See The Birds As They Fly On By
It’s Just Another New Day
It’s Just Another New Day
(Just Another New Day)
It’s Just Another New Day
Feel The Magic
Feel It Floating Though Your Soul
Let It Take You For A Ride
New Creation
As You See The Beauty Grow
You Couldn’t Stop It If You Tried
Feel The Sunlight In The Sky
Watch The Morning Melt Away
See The Beauty With You Eyes
It’s Just Another New Day
It’s Just Another New Day
(Just Another New Day)
Just Another New Day Yeah
Solo
It’s Just Another New Day

It’s Just Another New Day

Sitting In My Room Waiting For Your Call
Time Ticking Away And Still Nothing At All
Felling I Can’t Hide Because Of All The Pain
Yet I Always Seem To Smile
When I Hear Your Name
I Can’t Understand Was It Meant To Be
I Know That I Love You Way Can’t You Love Me
People Call Me Crazy Because Of How I Feel
Yet I Pray It’s Not A Dream
Because It Feels So Real
So I’m Gonna Keep Wishing
I’m Gonna Keep Hoping
I’m Gonna Keep Dreamin’ of You
Solo
Walking Hand In Hand Only In A Dream
Yet Deep Down Still Knowing
You Don’t Dream Of Me
Then We Walk Along Gazing At The Moon
Oh Please Don’t Let This Dream End
Because It’s Much Too Soon
My Dreams End So Quickly
Must There Be An End
There Seems Never Any Chance
For Them To Begin
So I’m Gonna Keep Wishing (Wishing)
I’m Gonna Keep Hoping (Hoping)
I’m Gonna Keep Dreamin’ (Dreamin’)
Of You
I’m Gonna Keep Wishing (Wishing)
I’m Gonna Keep Hoping (Hoping)
I’m Gonna Keep Dreamin’ (Dreamin’)
Of You
Solo
We Talked Again Today And You Said Goodbye
Now Every Time I Hear Your Name I Begin To Cry
Hoping You’ll Return Knowing That You Won’t
But I Know That You’ll Remain Here
Always In My Dream

There’s Something I Must Tell You
So Much I Want To Say
So Take The Time To Listen
Cause Baby I Just Can’t Wait
Let Me Hold You Closer
Run My Finger Through You Hair
Press Your Body Next To Mine
And I’ll Whisper In Your Ear
There Are Time When I’m Alone
And I Can’t See Past Today
The Worlds A Burden I Must Bear
When I Just Can’t Find My Way
Solo
Then I Look Your Eyes
And I Melt Like Ice
In The Summer Sun
My Life Has Just Begun
Suddenly You’re The One
Then I Need You More
Than The Day Before
I Don’t Why You Make Me High
I Feel So Good Inside
Love It Seems Is Found In Dreams
And Dreams Never Win
I’m Searching A Cold Dark Road
And I Just Can’t See The End
There Are Time When I’m Alone
And I Can’t See Past Today
The Worlds A Burden I Must Bear
When I Just Can’t Find My Way
Then I Look Your Eyes
And I Melt Like Ice
In The Summer Sun
My Life Has Just Begun
Suddenly You’re The One
Then I Need You More
Than The Day Before
But I Don’t Why You Make Me High
I Feel So Good Inside
Then I Look Your Eyes
And I Melt Like Ice
In The Summer Sun
My Life Has Just Begun
Suddenly You’re The One
Then I Need You More
Than The Day Before
I Don’t Why You Make Me High
I Feel So Good Inside

In 2008, I sought out a project that would challenge me. After exploring various options, I decided to draw inspiration from my roots. While sorting through some old audio tapes from my “Idea Box,” I stumbled upon a demo from my first band, “New Day.” As I listened to the demo, I wondered what the music and production would sound like if I had the knowledge I have today. This thought sparked the idea for the project called “New Day Revisited.”
For this project, I selected five songs from the original 1989 New Day demo and reimagined them. I produced and re-crafted them in my studio using the latest technology, providing all the instrumentation and lead and backing vocal parts. My goal was to produce the songs professionally and let them stand independently, showcasing the original songs’ strong core.
As a vocalist, instrumentalist, and producer, I used all my existing skills to engineer the entire project and spend ample time re-crafting the songs. The result was a contemporary arrangement that would do justice to the legacy of my first band. Through this project, I wanted to pay tribute to my bandmates and the memorable times we shared.
Despite facing several challenges during production, I remained determined to create a worthy tribute to my original band and bring out the potential in those early songs. My goal was to produce the tracks in a way that accurately reflected the intended sound and feel of the music. I spent countless hours in the studio fine-tuning each element of the songs, carefully selecting the instrumentation and arrangements to bring out their full potential. It was a demanding process, but I knew it was necessary to ensure that the final product was everything I wanted.
In the end, “New Day Revisited” was a triumph. The reimagined songs were well-received, and I was happy to share them. It was a fulfilling experience to revisit my roots and honor the legacy of my very first band.
