Lyrics

One Love Changes

Can You Feel The Magic
Thunder Without Sound
Lighting In A Empty Room

All Around Is Tragic
We See It Every Day
As Dark Clouds Begin To Loom

Through An Open Window
I Hear A Child Scream
Waiting For A Dawn To Come

With Anger All Around Us
We Chase Away Our Dreams
With No Place Left For Us To Run

So I Fell To My Knees
And I Wait For Your Reply

O I Hear So Many Reasons
And I Start To Wonder Why
And The Breaking Of The Silence
Leaves Me Tearing
My Whole World Apart

One Love (Changes)
One Heart
Changes Me (Heart)
Changes You
But Look What We’ve Done
With This Love We’ve Been Given Yeah

It Blind And It Cuts Me
It Comes And It Goes
Surely Takes My Breath Away
Like A Hand Getting Tighter
The Blood Overflows
Wanting Just To Get Away

So I Fell To My Knees
And I Wait For Your Reply

Oh I Hear So Many Reasons
And I Start To Wonder Why
And The Breaking Of The Silence
Leaves Me Calling Out To You Tonight

One Love (Changes)
One Heart
Changes Me (Heart)
Changes You
But Look What We’ve Done
With This Love We’ve Been Given Yeah

One Love (Changes)
One Heart
Changing Me (Heart)
Through And Through
With No Where To Run
We Best Start Beginning Yeah

Solo

So I Fell To My Knees
I Wait For Your Reply

I Hear So Many Reasons
And I Start To Wonder Why

And The Breaking Of The Silence
Leaves Me Calling You Tonight

One Love (Changes)
One Heart
Changing Me (Heart)
Through And Through

But Look What We’ve Done
With This Love We’ve Been Given Yeah

One Love (Changes)
One Heart
Changing Me (Heart)
Through And Through

With No Where To Run
We Best Start Beginning

One Love (Changes)
One Heart
Changing Me (Heart)
Through And Through

But Look What We’ve Done
With This Love We’ve Been Given

Look What We’ve Done
With This Love We’ve Been Given

Look What We’ve Done
Look What We’ve Done
With This Love We’ve Been Given

Ooo Ooo Ooh

In This World You Sought To Find
Some Form Of Reason
Some Way To Justify

Borrowed Jewels
On Your Paper Crown
You Kept From The Weak
While Keeping The Poor Man Down

Watch This Big World
Tumbling Down
One Will Stand
One Will Fall To The Ground

Here Where All Of Your Dreams Are Found
Welcome To Glittertown

Marking Time And Unaware
A Warm Welcome Room
But You Find No One There

House Of Cards
Takes Its Toll
As One Starts To Fall
You Start To Loose Control
Loose Control

Watch This Big World
Tumbling Down
One Will Stand
One Will Fall To The Ground

Here Where All Of Your
D Reams Are Found
Welcome To Glittertown

Watch This Big World
Tumbling Down
One Will Stand
One Will Fall To The Ground

Here Where All Of Your Dreams Are Found
Welcome To Glittertown Oh

Solo

Signing Deals Another Take
No Time Tears Or A Heart That’s Forsaking
Shaking Hands And Drinks
From The Fountain Of Wonder

Lining The Streets Of This Pipe Dream Machine
Miracle Mile Nor The Smiles Hold No Meaning
Don’t Let The Signs On This Road Take You Under

Watch This Big World
Tumbling Down
One Will Stand
One Will Fall To The Ground
Here Where All Of
Your Dreams Are Found
Welcome To Glittertown

Watch This Big World
Tumbling Down
One Will Stand
One Will Fall To The Ground
Here Where All Of
Your Dreams Are Found
Welcome To Glittertown
Welcome To Glittertown

In The Quickening Hour
Looking For A Sign Tonight
Feel A Presence Lead You
Toward The Light

Do You Feel His Power
Asking For Your Hand Tonight
Showing You The Path
To Make It Right

There’s A Cold Wind Blowing
Across A Crimson Sea
And A Hand From Heaven
Reaching Out To Me
Reaching Out To Me

In The Final Hour
Do You Run Toward The Light
Will You Let Him
Save Your Weary Soul

Now It’s In His Power
What Will You Decided Tonight
Now That He’s
Revealed To You The Light

There’s A Cold Wind Blowing
Across A Crimson Sea
And A Hand From Heaven
Reaching Out To Me

Watch The Fragments Falling
From A Red Scared Sky
And A Hand From Heaven
Wipes The Tears I’ve Cried

Solo

Here Is My Love
Here Is My Crime
Will You Take Them From Me

Show Me Your Love
Take All My Pride
No More Denying Who You Are

No More Denying No More Denying
No More Denying Who You Are

No More Trying No Denying
No Denying Who You Are

Solo

There’s A Cold Wind Blowing

There’s A Cold Wind Blowing
Across A Crimson Sea
And A Hand From Heaven
Reaching Out To Me

Watch The Fragments Falling
From A Red Scared Sky
And A Hand From Heaven
Wipes The Tears I’ve Cried

Find Your Way Now You Call To Me
You’re The One Place I Want To Be

Don’t Be Frighten By The Storm
And If You Lost Your Piece Of Love
I’ll Be Some More
Cause You Said

I Will Be (I There For You)
Open Your Arms And (I Will)
I Will Pick You Up
If (You Want Me Too)
I’m Gonna Find You Before Her Love Fades Away

Take A Look Now Tell Me What You See
Speaking Softly Is Your Call To Me

Don’t You See Your Tears Won’t Lie
And Just Another Step To You
Will Help Me Get By Cause You Said

I Will Be (I There For You)
Open Your Arms And (I Will)
I Will Pick You Up If (You Want Me Too)
I’m Gonna Find You Before Her Love Fades Away

Solo

What You Feel Now Take Away
Touch Me Find Me
And I’ll Follow You
And I’ll Follow You

In A White Dress She’ll Be Waiting
In A White Dress She’ll Be Waiting
In A White Dress She’ll Be Waiting
In A White Dress She’ll Be Waiting

Solo

And I’ll Follow Follow You
Oh I’ll Follow Oh I’ll Follow You
Yes I Will Follow You

(Follow ) Yes I Will Follow
(Follow ) Follow
(Follow ) You

You Wake To A World
Of Lies And Truth
Still Seeking Paradise
See The Walls Closing In
And You Options Ever Fewer

Take Another Step Forward
And You Fall Behind
Cut Your Losses Again
For The Very Last Time
You’re Keeping A Score
And You Seem To Still Be Losing

But After The Rain Falls
And Hits The Ground
Will You Be Left To Watch
The World-Go-Round
Looking For Someone
With Something To Say
Wanting The Truth And The Way

Higher And Higher
We Reach For The Fire
For A Piece Of The Puzzle
We Seek And Desire

And Then Silence Takes Over
And You Lose Control
For One Perfect Moment
You Start To Let Go
And Still You Are Screaming
Take Me Higher

For Now Is The Moment
For You To Decide
There’s No Where To Run To
There’s No Where To Hide

For Here Is The Moment
It’s All Up To You
So What Is It You’re Gonna Do

Higher And Higher
We Reach For The Fire
For A Piece Of The Puzzle
We Seek And Desire
Higher And Higher
We Reach For The Fire

Solo

Wondering Eyes That Seem Not To Care
A Waiting For Someone
To Show You They’ll Share

All The Dreams
That’s In Their World They Will Bring
Every Treasure Left Here
To Show You The Way

Solo

Take Me Higher
Oh Won’t You Take Me
Just A Little Bit Higher Now
Won’t You Take Me
Just A Little Bit Higher Now Oh Yeah

Watch This Big World Tumbling Down
One Will Stand One Will Fall To The Ground

The Album

Formed in the mid-nineties, Crimson Fable was a progressive rock experiment. The band represented the influences and passions of many groundbreaking prog-rock musical groups such as Yes, Genesis, Styx, Rush, Kansas, The Moody Blues, The Electric Light Orchestra, Saga, and the British prog-rock band, Marillion.

Crimson Fable was born from the remnants of the second incarnation of Fair Exchange. After the departure of lead guitarist Dave Perrigan, bassist Marc Miller introduced us to guitar virtuoso Art Bromage. It was Art’s flawless audition that sealed the deal for him. We immediately asked him to join the group.

With Art now on board, we would take the techniques as songwriters and instrumentalists we had worked to perfect and begin to carve out a prog-rock nirvana that would be the vehicle that would showcase our skills and new progressive sound—fusing melodic prog-rock orchestrations and unique time signatures. Haunting vocal melodies, screaming guitars, and intricate arrangements would power our sound. It wasn’t long before we could finally take Crimson Fable’s newly crafted music into the studio.

We’d been in the studio for months, creating and recording our debut album, our most ambitious musical effort. However, following a long, arduous stint, we abruptly parted ways. We had only finished three of the six songs we had planned. Those included “Higher and Higher,” “Find Your Way,” and a revised version of the Fair Exchange song “Changes.”

The remaining unfinished songs would not see the light of day for several years. I finally decided to dust them off and commit to completing the unfinished album. These tracks would include the song “Welcome to Glittertown,” the epic guitar masterpiece “El Lione,” and the song “Fragments.”

The challenge became building a cohesive theme for the unfinished album. I put my skills as a producer and engineer to work and used my newly acquired palette of ProTools, cutting, pasting, and editing track after track.
Once completed, the six-song album would be titled Fragments.

The finished product would highlight the skills and passions of four very gifted musicians at the pinnacle of our creativity. The album has been remastered and will be released on all streaming platforms in late March 2023.
